My Walmart Shopping Trip: Paid $2.84!

I ventured out to Walmart this evening and ended up having an awesome trip. My husband spotted some great peelie coupons which ended up giving me a significant amount of overage! I always tell him I’d rather go by myself but now that I know he can find great deals I just might have to bring him every time! ;)

Bought (3) tubes of ChapStick, 98¢ Each
Used (3) of the $1.50/1 ChapStick Product Peelie Coupons found on the packaging
Final Price = FREE + $1.56 Overage!

Bought (2) boxs of Glutino Gluten-Free Pasta 8 oz., $2.48 Each
Used (2) of the $2/1 Glutino Product printable coupon found here
Final Price = 48¢ each!

Bought (2) packages of Jennie-O Gluten-Free Turkey Franks, 98¢ Each
Used (1) of this $0.55/2 Jennie-O Turkey Franks Products printable coupon found here
Final Price = 71¢ each!

So, for everything listed above I had a subtotal of just $1.79 but with tax it was $2.84. Not bad for gluten-free, huh? I would have bought the food items anyway because that’s what I went to Walmart for but I’m super excited that I now have three extra tubes of ChapStick on hand! I don’t prefer this brand for myself but I LOVE to keep some in my gift stash as they make for nice stocking stuffers. ;)

Target has come up with even more ways to save at the register by offering you their NEW Carthweel program. Basically, it’s yet another coupon you can use while checking out that can also be paired with both a manufacturer’s coupon and a Target one! So there are now THREE ways to lessen your register total when shopping at Target. Awesome! Here’s how it works…

  1. In order to redeem these savings you must have a Facebook account and a Smartphone (if you don’t have a Smartphone then you can also print the barcodes.. just don’t forget them at home! ;) )
  2. Head on over here then click on the Facebook Login button located at the top of the page. Every action on this site will reflect on your Facebook wall but you can adjust your privacy settings if you don’t want this information shown.
  3. After logging in you can click on the ‘Collections’ tab located at the top of the page to begin browsing all the offers.
  4. If you see an offer you want simple click on it to flip it over. Since you’re given 10 Cartwheel slots to begin with, you can click the red ‘Add’ button. After you’ve filled up your 10 slots, earn more by unlocking various Carthweel badges.
